There is a need...
In Georgia over 15,000 children are neglected or abused each year. Jackson County has nearly 100 kids in foster care at any given time. Banks and Barrow Countes add even more children to that number. There are just not enough foster homes to handle existing needs and the numbers are increasing each year.
That is where Kid’s Resource Center comes in. Our desire is to provide youth homes for boys and girls that will meet their special needs and give them the best chance to grow into responsible adults.

Amanda house is the first Home serving girls ages 10-18 on a temporary and long term basis. We do not treat the kids like a problem, we treat them with the love and the respect they need and deserve!

Our Mission:
To provide at risk children a home that is safe, warm, and nutiring, where they will receive medical care, education, training, food, clothes and counseling... to heal the scars not so easily seen.
